#16 Megan Fox

Megan Fox
Here’s a picture of Megan Fox from back before she was the hottest girl you’ve ever hated. While she spends her days annoying the crap out of the cast and crew of various Michael Bay films now, once upon a time she was just the cute little kid you’d be happy to bring home to your parents and take to prom!

#15Jonathan Lipnicki

Jonathan Lipnicki
Remember the dorky looking kid from Jerry MaguireStuart Little and The Little Vampire? Well, he’s all grown up now and you’d never even know it’s the same dude that once befriended a Michael J. Fox-sounding mouse in a movie that you still think of as about five years old even though it’s now 16 years old… wow.

#14 Russell Brand

Russell Brand
Before he was outwitting talk show hosts and making people laugh while educating them on the bizarre and ridiculous ways in which the world’s politics work these days, Russell Brand was just a chubby, self-conscious guy who kept his thoughts to himself and was probably the class’s least likely candidate to become radio presenter-turned-famous Hollywood actor and talk show host.

#13 Axl Rose

Axl Rose
The Guns’n’Roses front man is a far cry now from what he was in his initial days when he first started singing about Paradise City (where the drugs are free and the girls are pretty) and the jungle (welcome to the jungle, we got fun and games). Now he’s older, wiser, chubbier, uglier, and just generally ready for retirement I think.

#12 Bono

Bono
Before U2 front man Bono was shoving his humanitarian beliefs and life philosophies down the throats of every reluctant and begrudging person he can reach, and taking it upon himself to just assume every iPod or iPhone owner wants U2’s latest and worst album yet, he was a younger (but presumably just as cocky) man.

#11 Pamela Anderson

Pamela Anderson
Here’s Pamela Anderson – every guy’s dream girl throughout the nineties – as she looks today and I’ve gotta say, she’s not looking too horrible for someone who is just two years shy of their 50th birthday! And let’s not forget, you can attribute some of those wrinkles to the trauma she would have experienced from being kidnapped by Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat) a few years back!

#10 Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie
And now for the main event: the biggest Hollywood actress there is and arguably the most beautiful too. She was a cute kid and she’s a drop dead gorgeous woman who seems to be getting hotter as she gets older! She has adopted numerous kids from impoverished countries and she’s inspired women everywhere by having her breasts removed to save her from breast cancer – a bold move that many woman would perhaps be too vain to commit to. Don’t ever change, Mrs. Pitt.

#9 Amanda Bynes

Amanda Bynes
So many child stars go down this road that it’s actualy such a boring cliché now. To see a preteen celebrity actually be fit and healthy through their twenties and thirties and also still have an active career in show business is practically unheard of. Lindsay Lohan, Macaulay Culkin, Edward Furlong, Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus will be joining those ranks soon… and Amanda Bynes. She was such a cute kid! Now she’s being lost to spray tans, greasy hair and mind-numbing drugs.

#8 Simon Cowell

Simon Cowell
Who would have thought that Simon Cowell – the original American Idol angry judge with a personality we hadn’t seen the likes of since Judge Judy herself and which has been mimicked and ripped off so many times since – was actually cool once. Well, I’m just assuming he was cool in the seventies judging by his rockstar hair, moustache, and awesome singlet.

#7 Renee Zellweger

Renee Zellweger
This one is a little different than the others in that we’re not comparing a childhood picture or even a “peak of their career” shot with a current photo. We’re talking about a woman who has a completely different face within a few months and doesn’t admit to or visibly appear to have had any cosmetic surgery whatsoever.
Her face doesn’t look tighter like plastic surgery tends to do. It just looks… different. There were talks of a third Bridget Jones’s Diary but surely it just wouldn’t work now, would it?

#6 Matthew Lewis

Matthew Lewis
Neville Longbottom doesn’t seem so dorky anymore, does he? In fact, the geeky dude who is essentially written into the Harry Potter plot to be bully meat eventually turned out to be the best looking guy in the cast by the time the eight-part series had run its course. Apparently make-up artists had a hard time trying to maintain the dorkiness of his character by the last few movies.

#5 James Franco

James Franco
If you had been shown this black and white picture on the left here without the comparison photo on the right and been told that it’s a childhood picture of a famous Hollywood celebrity, would you have ever in a million years figured out that it was James Franco?
He looks like a completely different person! His younger brother Dave, on the other hand… it’s uncanny how similar the two brothers look!

#4 Josh Peck

Josh Peck
28-year-old Josh Peck has come a long way since the start of his career, where his chubby 14-year-old self was acting in movies like Snow DayThe Newcomers, and Max Keeble’s Big Movie. Now he’s sprouted up, slimmed down, improved his acting skills and is starring in films like Red Dawn and The Labyrinth.

#3 Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus
What can we say about Miley Cyrus? She’s still hot – that’s undeniable. Mind you, she’d be a lot hotter if she stopped sticking her tongue out like an idiot for every single photo and wearing ridiculous attention-seeking outfits in a Justin Bieber-esque way of attracting nothing but more enemies!
Hopefully she snaps out of this annoying phase soon as balances out into someone a little more likeable…

#2 Zac Efron

Zac Efron
Zac Efron has made a successful transformation from pretty boy kid to good looking muscular man that is catching up to Channing Tatum as girls’ “go to” dream hunk. Although he won a lot of us guys over too with his comedic role in Bad Neighbours and his cameo on Comedy Central’s Workaholics.
I’m not sure that Matthew Perry (Chandler from Friends) was a good choice to play his older self in 17 Again though… I don’t see a universe where Zac Efron could grow up into Matthew Perry.

#1 Ryan Seacrest

Ryan Seacrest
40-year-old Atlanta-born Ryan Seacrest has been a popular TV personality for many years now, and we all know him well enough from our television screens to imagine what you think he’d look like as a child. Well, we were all wrong – unless you thought he looked like this! Puberty was certainly good to Ryan!
